Statistics of the General Council of Notaries confirms the growing number of transactions, prices and the number of new mortgage loans in the real estate market in Spain. In September, these indicators increased by 8.7%, 1.7% and 17.4%, respectively.
"Such an increase in the number of transactions for the sale of apartments is due solely to an increase in sales of secondary facilities by 13% in average annual terms, as in the segment of new housing, the figure fell by 19.7%," - explain notaries. With regard to buildings, in this field there is an increase of 14.7%.
The average cost per square meter of housing sold in September was 1242 euros, which is 1.7% higher than a year earlier. These trends are due to rise in price as the apartments (2.7%) and homes (2.3%). Within the segment of apartment price per square meter was 1,359 euros in the case of second homes (2%) and 1 632 euro in the case of new (13.6%).
"The evolution of the mortgage market for home purchase confirms the growth of the real estate sector in Spain", - underline notaries. Thus, the number of new loans intended for the purchase of residential real estate rose to 12,048 (+ 17.4%). The average amount of these loans amounted to 122,993 euros (0.1% compared to September 2014) The share of transactions carried out with the involvement of bank financing amounted to 39.7% of the total. On average, its size was 77.1% of the value of the object.
