The foreigners who are residents of Spain continue to buy up the Spanish real estate

The share of the foreign citizens getting objects of residential real estate in Spain continues to increase, but rates of this tendency became more moderate. In this plan foreign citizens who live in the Spanish kingdom on a constant basis are especially active.
According to the Idealista portal, for the third trimester of the current year foreigners made 17,2% of such operations, and this indicator became record during all the time. Nevertheless, as reports the Ministry of development, the lion's share, namely – 15,9% of similar transactions belongs to foreigners who are residents of Spain. And here nonresidents made 1,28% of total number of transactions.
Since July, 2014 and finishing September, the amount of the sold inhabited objects made 80.136, that is, is 13,5% more in relation to the similar period of last year. Following the results of, this trimester became the most productive since 2010. For last 12 months, since October of last year and till September current, in the Spanish kingdom it was sold 347.078 apartments and houses that is 1,6% more, than for the previous similar period.
The most part of transactions on purchase of housing belongs to Spaniards, namely – 82,2% of all purchases. However, foreign citizens also become more active in this plan, in particular, the Spanish residents. So, in the previous year they concluded 15,4% of bargains, and two years before – 11,7%. And here foreign citizens which isn't lived in the territory of the Spanish kingdom on a constant basis, possess 1,28% of total number of the operations made for the third quarter 2014. In the previous year this indicator was equated to 1,57%, and in 2012 made 1,1%.
As for distribution on regions, at foreign citizens Valencia where the Spanish residents bought 4.092 inhabited objects while nonresidents – 342 objects enjoys the greatest popularity. The second place of this rating belongs to Andalusia with indicators 2.626 objects and 402 objects respectively. The third position beyond Catalonia where residents got 2.074 objects, nonresidents – 58. Canary Islands – 1.252 and 60 inhabited objects respectively finish this list.
